It's like they made my world into a film. Except with very cheesy dialogue, much less color, and a lot of gunfights and explosions. ...huh.

Hah, isn't it just?
No, there weren't terribly many gunfights and explosions and they've even decreased over the past few years, isn't is a shame?

Oh, certainly.

Why would they decrease, though?

Oh, that's because someone has been offing criminals, or so they say. It's not like anyone was really murdered, but the bad guys habitually drop dead in my world. Strange, really.

If they're just dying, why would people think someone's behind it?

If they're all criminals and all die of the same cause, regardless of sex, age, heritage, location, anything? I suppose people would think that because there were many deaths within a fairly short time. Of course, heavenly intervention is another interpretation if you believe in that sort of thing.

But how would one person be able to do all that, though?

Who knows. But now you know why there's so little gunfire and exploding going on in my world.

It certainly sounds like a pretty compelling reason for it.
