....well.
It's like they made my world into a film. Except with very cheesy dialogue, much less color, and a lot of gunfights and explosions. ...huh.
(( >.> Let's just say some people believe that Repo Men MAYBE JUST A TINY BIT rips off Repo! The Genetic Opera))

Date: 2010-02-18 09:24 pm (UTC)No, there weren't terribly many gunfights and explosions and they've even decreased over the past few years, isn't is a shame?
no subject
Date: 2010-02-18 09:27 pm (UTC)Why would they decrease, though?

Date: 2010-02-19 03:09 pm (UTC)Sadly, fiction does make everything seem more exciting. Romanticizing the idea, or whatever they say. Very rarely is anything ever actually like what they say in the stories. Of course, sometimes its better, though.

Date: 2010-02-19 03:23 pm (UTC)That's true. Things have to be played up for film that wouldn't happen in real life. But I do prefer real life, where there's less random explosions going on.

Date: 2010-02-19 03:39 pm (UTC)I wouldn't say that there were less random explosions in real life. Well, at least not in my life. It's all been kinda exciting, so far.

Date: 2010-02-19 03:47 pm (UTC)Really now? What do you do that has you surrounded by explosions?
no subject
Date: 2010-02-19 03:52 pm (UTC)Oh, well, you know. Ran a few cons, got on the wrong side of a few dangerous people, tangled with the wrong crowds, slept with some pretty interesting headcases, moved on to work for a top secret organization. The usual.

Date: 2010-02-20 07:20 am (UTC)Don't feel too bad for me. It was a long time ago. Long enough that I can't really remember it well on most days, at any rate.

Date: 2010-02-20 03:03 pm (UTC)What's the Agency?
no subject
Date: 2010-02-20 03:44 pm (UTC)The Time Agency. Used to work as a Time Agent. Then I did a little stint for the RAF, and now I've got my own little Top Secret agency, capital letters and everything.
Captain Jack Harkness, by the way. And who do I have the pleasure of talking with?

Date: 2010-02-20 03:55 pm (UTC)I'm Mag. It's nice to meet you.
no subject
Date: 2010-02-20 04:12 pm (UTC)Mag, huh? Well, it's a pleasure. Is that short for something, or is it just Mag?
no subject
Date: 2010-02-20 08:42 pm (UTC)Thank you. It is, it's short for Magdalene.

Date: 2010-02-21 02:05 am (UTC)Magdalene? That's gorgeous. And very formal, which isn't me so much, so Mag it is.
no subject
Date: 2010-02-21 03:57 am (UTC)Oh, thank you. Mag is fine, that's what most everyone calls me.

Date: 2010-02-21 04:15 am (UTC)Well, you can call me Jack. That's what most everyone calls me as well. Unless you're set on the Captain bit, that is. There are some who can't get around that formality.
((OOC Note: Fyi, Dee is having some relationship fail here, if Mag feels like counseling him in any way. :P))

Date: 2010-02-21 04:31 pm (UTC)I'm sorry if I'm asking too many questions, I've just never heard of anything like you work before; feel free to tell me if I'm being nosy.
Jack it is, then. Good to meet you, Jack.
((Super!Mag is on her way for counsel-times :D))

Date: 2010-02-21 11:40 pm (UTC)It's not too many questions. I've just convinced myself that it finally doesn't take an interrogation of someone before I figure out they won't come and invade if they know about what we do. You should consider yourself lucky. You get to hear about our little operation as much as you like.
